After experimenting with sheep we decided they needed some friends. We already have some chick earrings so I’ve made a pendant to go with them.
Pigs also seem to be popular I’ve had a go at making some but they do look a wee bit sunburnt so the pink needs toning down a bit I think. I also made some cows to go with the sheep chicks and pigs.
Hopefully we’ll get them photographed and uploaded to the main site soon.

Farmyard Friends
It may be a while since my last blog post however that does not mean I haven’t been busy!
I have been experimenting with Flower Canes using a millefiori technique. I’ve made two canes in a deep pink with a white daisy and a deep blue with a white daisy. I first used them to produce some really cute flowery sheep then some flower beads. I then decided to experiment with bracelets mixing my fimo beads with a mixture of assorted glass & acryllic beads I really love these and have worn one myself.
After making the flowery sheep we thought why not some psychedelic sheep? and so some truly bright and funky sheep were born made with a mix of bold colours no two legs or ears being the the same colour!
All of these should be coming to the site soon.

After alot of hard work, we finally decided on our Halloween designs.
Our all new Halloween collection including Spooks, Witches and Pumpkins amongst other items is now available online.
Enjoy!
Time for some more experimentation!
I now have some glow in the dark Polymer Clay. So I have made some example spooks that will glow in the dark (will check tonight to make sure), black cats with glow in the dark eyes and a bat sillouette on a Glow in the dark back ground. If these work as well as I think they will I might well delve into multicolour glow in the dark.
I have also made a more traditional pumpkin pendant too so we’ll see what they are like once they are varnished etc.
Check them out in the photo. These are fresh out of the oven, not even varnished!
A strange thing to get excited about I know but I’ve just gotten my hands on a new Dremmel type tool. Oh the fun of it all. This one comes with lots of accessories and most importantly extensions so I don’t have to hold the actual machine in my hands. With this one I can just hold a smaller attachment so I can do more detailed finishing work.
I now have my sights set on some engraving bits to personalise items to make even more special jewellery.
Well my latest batch of jewellery has been finished and sent off.
This time it’s a batch of L-Plate pendants needed in a hurry. I’m thinking that these are for a hen party night out so they should be off to a memorable night and good homes with hopefully happy memories.
Good luck to the hen and her friends whoever you are and I hope you have a wonderful night.
I really must decide what sort of Halloween themed jewellery to make this year….
Sounds like an easy thing doesn’t it? However when you make the jewellery yourself the sky really is the limit. I’m thinking I’ll keep things light hearted and fun, after all, Halloween is for the kids (Big and small) isn’t it?
Now what stereotypical Halloween related items are there, here’s my list so far:
Pumpkin
Spook/Ghost
Witch
Black Cat
Cauldron
Spiders/Web
I’m leaning towards Pumpkins, spooks and black cats but I really can’t decide so watch this space (or the website).
A big batch of jewellery had just been put in the oven but I had some polymer clay left over, A lump of Black and a lump white and It seemed such a shame to put it away.
Most of the jewellery I’ve made so far can be worn on any occasion with anything it’s beautiful and classy. I fancied making something a bit more ‘crazy’ this time. As I sat there rolling the lumps of clay around waiting for inspiration to hit me, I suddenly had a thought…. sheep!
Number one was a bit of a fiddly process but shortly afterwards there he was, he looked very lonely though so out of what was left of the clay I made him a friend. The two friends were then mounted on header pins and baked in the oven and so the first pair of sheep earrings were born.

Sheep Earrings
Months later I have made an ever increasing number of sheep so what next? A set of sheep (including pendants or hair ties etc)? More animals?
Well in an experiment I have made a run of sheep pendants to go with the earrings. I’ll see how they go but I figure it’s way past time to try and make some farmyard and domestic animal friends to keep the sheep company.
